Database Authentication

Use your own intranet database or existing web service as a source of credentials to log in to Deskpro.

Use account details from your own external database. Install the Database Authentication app to take user or agent account details from your existing database. The integration supports all major databases; MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MsSQL, Oracle or any system that supports ODBC.

Deskpro's flexible authentication options mean you can use a database to replace the standard Deskpro authentication system, or work alongside it. Deskpro supports over 20 distinct sources of account details. You can use any source for users, agents or both. You can enter custom PHP code to control how the user-inputted password is checked against the password field in the database for custom verification.
