Finding a Spiceworks alternative doesn't have to be complicated

In 2021, Spiceworks announced the end-of-life of their On-Premise software Desktop, leaving users in a state of uncertainty. With no further support or maintenance, the future of Spiceworks' On-Premise help desk became unclear.

While they suggested migrating to Spiceworks Cloud Help Desk, it came with reduced functionality compared to the On-Premise asset management software. The remaining option, the Help Desk Server, is available but receiving minimal development attention.
