Just like the idea behind memos, in DeskPRO you can write notes for other techs to see. It is a quick and efficient way to share information privately with staff.
Adding Notes
Attaching notes to a ticket is very much like replying to one, but with a couple different options. When you add a note, it is added to the ticket in the form of a reply, but with a gray background. Just before you submit your note, you are asked to notify other techs regarding your note. Not selecting a tech will not let alert anyone.
Viewing Notes
Viewing notes is almost exactly like viewing a reply to a ticket, except that it has a slightly different look and is not viewable by the user. Ticket notes can also be viewable by click the Ticket Notes tab (same section used to add notes to a ticket).
