DeskPRO has very minimal requirements and should work on any modern server.

At any time you can test DeskPRO on your server using our downloadable demos.

If for any reason you do not have a server that supports these technologies or you would prefer to have us manage your DeskPRO installation for you, you may wish to consider our Managed DeskPRO service.

• Server: DeskPRO runs equally well on Linux, Windows, Mac, BSD, Solaris, Unix, etc. Any platform that can support a web server and the PHP language will suffice.
• Webserver: We recommend Apache, but any server that supports PHP is acceptable.
• PHP. DeskPRO v3.2.0 requires PHP 5.2.0 or newer.
• MySQL database server. DeskPRO v3.2.0 requires MySQL v4.1 or newer.
• Mail: For the email gateway, you need either a Mail Transport Agent (MTA) that can pipe mail (like exim, postfix, etc.), or you can access mail accounts using POP3.
• Scheduled Tasks: Ability to run cron tasks or scheduled tasks.
• Decoding Software: Support for either Zend Optimizer or Ioncube Decoder. Our product ships with the ioncube decoders.

Optional Requirements

• GD, and PHP installed with GD support enabled to support graph generation.
• PHP compiled with OpenSSL to support POP/SMTP connections over SSL
